Charley and his friend Jack fall in love with the beautiful Spittigue girls, Kitty and Annie, who are jealously guarded by their father. What's more, the young men are not interested in money, so they have no chance of winning the goodwill of their grim father. But a visit from Charley's aunt, a wealthy millionaire, gives the youngsters hope. They hatch a brilliant plan, but it seems to be ruined when Donna Lucia, the aunt, fails to arrive. The young men soon get over this little problem and persuade their friend to play the part of the aunt. All goes well until the real Donna Lucia arrives.

A Fort Lauderdale, Florida Police Captain (Robert Conrad) accidentally kills a youth when he is pursuing some cop killers. The investigation into the murders and into a cocaine connection then hinges on the Captain's capabilities to get the slain teen's homeless buddy (Robert's son Shane Conrad) to trust him and provide information. Robert's son, Christian Conrad also co-stars as another police officer.

Charley is a workaholic family man that finds out from an angel that his "number's up" and he will be dying soon so he tries to change his ways and be a better husband and father with the time he has left.

Living in cramped quarters with Charley, an architecture student, four of his friends force him to dress up as a woman and play the role of his own godmother in order to rent Mr. de Saint-Sevran's mansion at low prices. The result is a series of misunderstandings and comical situations that only end when the real godmother arrives.

This is one of the most beautiful and mysterious shorts committed to film. Visuals are more like a moving painting than anything else I've seen. There are certainly elements of films like City of Lost Children in there, but taken to another level. Visually only Casshern comes close to this, for sheer depth of vision. It just shows you what is possible for people to achieve with some imagination. Too many film makers seem to want to use digital effects to create the most realistic looking sets/ extras/ stunts, when they should be concentrating on making it look as interesting as possible.
